This privacy policy covers the SaaS Insiders website (insiders.joinsaaskit.com) and the WAnalysis Chrome extension. We take your privacy seriously and want to be transparent about what data we collect and how we use it.

What WAnalysis Does

WAnalysis is a Chrome extension that exports WhatsApp Web chats as HTML, CSV, or Text files. All chat processing happens locally in your browser. Your conversations are never uploaded to any external server.

Data We Collect

Email Address

When you subscribe to SaaS Insiders or create a WAnalysis account, we ask for your email address to verify your identity. Your email address is:

• Sent to our verification server to deliver a one-time passcode (OTP)
• Stored locally in your browser's extension storage after verification (WAnalysis only)
• Added to the SaaS Insiders mailing list for product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time)

User Preferences (WAnalysis)

WAnalysis stores your export preferences (export format, date range, media options, CSV settings, dark mode) locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, read, store, or transmit your WhatsApp messages or conversations
• We do not collect your WhatsApp contacts or phone numbers
• We do not collect your browsing history
• We do not collect analytics or usage telemetry
• We do not use cookies or tracking pixels
• We do not collect any media files (images, videos, audio) from your chats

How Exports Work (WAnalysis)

When you export a chat with WAnalysis, the entire process runs locally in your browser:

• The extension reads chat data directly from the WhatsApp Web page in your browser
• Messages and media are processed in your browser's memory
• The export file is generated locally and saved directly to your computer
• No chat data is ever sent to our servers or any third party

Third-Party Services

• WhatsApp Web (web.whatsapp.com) — WAnalysis interacts with the WhatsApp Web page running in your browser tab to read chat data. This is a local browser interaction, not a server-to-server connection.
• SaaS Insiders Verification Server — Used solely for email verification during account setup or newsletter signup. Only your email address and a source identifier are sent to this server.

Data Retention

• Your email is stored locally in your browser's extension storage until you uninstall WAnalysis or clear its data
• Your email is stored on our mailing list server until you unsubscribe
• Export files are saved to your local computer and are entirely under your control

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your email address is only used for account verification and product update emails from SaaS Insiders.

Your Rights

• You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email
• You can remove your stored email by uninstalling WAnalysis or clearing its data in Chrome settings
• You can contact us to request deletion of your email from our mailing list

Children's Privacy

SaaS Insiders and WAnalysis are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
